U-Star Records, the legendary label founded by the Idjut Boys way back in 1993, is
making a surprise return to record stores. To mark the occasion, Conrad McDonnell
and Dan Tyler have recruited Tuff City Kids - AKA Running Back boss GerdJanson and
regular studio buddy Phillip Lauer - to provide fresh interpretations of a trio of
label classics. First time round, U-Star Records played a vital role in the Idjut
Boys’ production career.
